Our commitment
Shanz Game follows the standards set by the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC) of Kenya and the broader POCAMLA framework. We maintain a risk-based AML program covering KYC, ongoing monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious-activity reporting.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Government-issued ID (National ID, passport, or driving licence).
- Liveness selfie matched to the ID photo.
- Phone number confirmed via OTP.
- Source-of-funds questions for transactions above KES 1,000,000.
Monitoring
- Real-time velocity checks on deposits and withdrawals.
- Device and IP fingerprinting to detect multi-accounting.
- Sanctions list screening against OFAC, UN, EU and the Kenya FRC list.
- Automated flagging of unusual patterns — structured deposits, rapid withdrawals, etc.
Reporting
Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) are filed with the FRC where required. We cannot notify the customer that an STR has been filed.
